Face Painting at Manon's 3rd Birthday Party

My face painter, my technical assistant and and I came to serve at Manon's 3rd birthday party.

I am one of the earliest children's entertainer in Singapore to travel and work with an assistant all the time.

It allows me to focus specifically on entertaining the children and leave all of the technical aspects to my assistant. (Props setup, music, sound amplifirer, microphone, etc)

When many of my contemporaries/fellow entertainers saw me at work, they quickly realised the potential of having an assistant and many of them now has a helper of some sort at their own events.

Nowadays, I have 5 - 8 events on a single day for popular dates (last Sat and this Sat!) and I travel with 2 assistants.

Enjoy the pics! More face painting samples at:

MINT Museum Of Toys (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys)

We served a birthday party at MINT Museum Of Toys, 26 Seah Street. Maddy, the birthday girl was very cute!

It's a GREAT venue - the guests will get a free tour and it's really fun to see the toys that people enjoyed in the past.

I had lots of fun - being my cheeky self - my assistant helped to me take some fun pics!

I am a HUGE Ultraman fan - I used to collect the toys and videos.

I have figurines dating back to 1972. I went ga-ga when I saw the life-size model of Ultraman.

Tintin and Snowy! Captain Dazzle and Fluffy!

Did you catch the 'mirror' image?

I just couldn't miss the chance! The rabbit on the right is really my live rabbit, Fluffy!

The other visitors behind me had a good laugh as well. They also requested for me to stay in that pose so that they can take a picture too.

I had a good mind to charge them for the funny pic...

More fun with Darth Maul (Star Wars)!

    I made my double-bladed light-saber from balloons!

    My assistant like vehicles!

Ok, that was lots of fun, more updates coming up this weekend!

    Birthday Party at Peperoni Pizzeria

We served Gregory's birthday party at Peperoni Pizzeria located at 6 Greenwood Avenue!

The staff is very friendly and the food's really great - all the pizza are baked in a wood-fire oven.

They have great reviews at HungryGoWhere.

Feedback from my client: Thank you so much for today! Gregory was very happy and his friends had a blast too!!

    The Preschoolers Learning Centre@Jalan Tani

I love the children at The Preschoolers Learning Centre@Jalan Tani!

They are all very cute, interactive and highly intelligent. I was there to serve at TWO parties this week!

If you have a child and wish to enrol him/her in a preschool in the Hougang/Kovan area, contact me privately and I can inform you on my personal views on the Pros and Cons of the Preschoolers Learning Centre@ Jalan Tani.

I have served at many parties in preschools within the area (Carpe Diem, Pat's schoolhouse, Treasure Box, MMI, Kinderland, etc) and I'll be able to provide you with my personal experiences with the school's teachers/principal and how the Preschoolers' Centre compares with the rest.

    Fluffy, my Magic Rabbit!

As some of you already know, there are actually 3 "Fluffys" in my home. Just for convenience's sake, I always call my rabbit 'Fluffy' at events.

Of course, they have individual names - Here is "Munchy", who is the most curious and adventurous of the 3. One birthday child bought some carrot treats for "Munchy" and I took a video of Munchy enjoying the tidbits.

Birthday Party at The Arcadia condominium - Good Feedback!

From a mummy who booked us for birthday party entertainment:

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for making James' 5th birthday a success!

All the children had a great time and how you managed to keep 30 children fully engaged and enthralled for 2 hours was amazing.

Once again thank you.  We will definitely be booking you for our daughters' birthday next year!

Oh, by the way, because we have a LOT of repeat customers as well as children/parents who have seen me perform previously - we have many different magic/juggling/puppet shows and routines. You'll never see the same show.

We keep records of all the shows and tricks that we do at a certain event. I am also a life-long learner - I frequently learn new tricks, buy new props and update my routines, so that I can get better and better.

The Best Sand Art Artist I've seen (so far!)

We were serving a birthday party at St. Regis Residences - Singapore and I met Joseph. He's the Best Sand Art Artist I've ever seen. (He's even better than me!)

He really enjoyed the craft and did at least 4 pieces - all of them great works. My staff told me after the event that Joseph displayed a lot of creativity in applying the colored sand to achieve different effects.

    One of the amazing works!

My face painter was also creating beautiful works on live canvas.

    Rainbow Butterfly

One of the girls told my face painter that she loves the unicorn painting (on her arm) so much that she's not going to bath for the next few days. (Mummy is going to have a tough time...)

The Most Amazing Watermelon in the World

We served Eden's 1st Birthday Party on Sunday. My host kindly offered us food and watermelon dessert, only to find out - to our greatest surprise - the watermelon is NOT watermelon!

It's actually jelly - or as the locals call it - 'agar-agar'. It was absolutely amazing! The 'magician' who made the "watermelon" jelly is Eden's grandmother. The 'seeds' were actually black jelly too. Wow!

    Jelly as Undercover Spy 'WM'

It was a great party - My host had booked us for an extra 30 mins so that the children can have more elaborate balloon sculptures.

Great move - the children were able to get spidey man, mickey mousey, minnie mousey and other complicated sculptures.

I have a pic of the Mickey Mousey that we recently took at Preschool For Multiple Intelligences@Newton Road.

We served Chelsia's 4th Birthday there. Many of the children at PMI could recognise me from other birthday parties which also featured me as the entertainer.

Kelly's 4th Birthday - Thanks for the great feedback!

Kelly's Party was held at Odyssey - The Global Preschool@Alexandra.

I also served her party when she was 2! She has grown even prettier now!

    Great comments from mummy:

"Thanks for the great party! It was SUPER! I have never seen Kelly laughed so much and so radiantly before...  Thanks for everything and our  lil' princess wants you back for her fifth birthday!"

    From mummy's facebook link:

This morning at the party was probably the longest period that I’ve ever seen her laughed so radiantly, so healthily, so loudly and so happily and in literal terms, she laughed non-stop!

Such sights means very much to us and extremely important too. The clown is now known to her as Uncle Edmund and he is probably the best in town. During the close to 2 hours long session, he has never once lost the attention of the children, either with his jokes or his magic tricks.

There is also Fluffy the Rabbit and a PiƱata that concluded the party with a bash. It has been a 5 stars birthday party for her and probably, the best that she ever had. Thanks to the super duper great Edmund, fantastic friends and teachers, pretty Auntie Doreen and a very happy and pretty Kelly!

    Open your eyes, Captain Dazzle!
